Meditation and Prayers Help Me Have A Beautiful Day, Every Day…

Before I get out of bed in the morning, I always say, “Thank You God” before my feet hit the floor. I then get up and go take a shower and proceed to my meditation seat. I close my eyes and breathe. I inhale peace and exhale all bad feelings and thoughts. I praise God out loud in sweet song. I praise God within, with love and appreciation for all He has given to me. I let Him know that I need Him in my life. I spend 45 minutes to one hour, sitting quietly. I pray out loud for all of humanity, including my family to live in peace and to help one another. I also ask questions that I need guidance with to make my walk on sweet Earth more pleasant and productive. Then I meditate. They say meditation is when one should listen for answers to questions and any guidance that may be given. Are you asking me, ” Wait now. How do you know when God is answering you or giving you guidance?” And that is an excellent question. I listen. I go deep and listen in quietness. This is where intuition comes in to play. I may hear a sound; see an image suddenly flash across my mind’s eye or hear something deep within that answers my question or questions. Sometimes, I don’t receive anything at all during meditation. But every time, sometimes later on in the day or the next day or next week, the answer is unveiled! The answer may come in the form of talking to my husband, sons, family or friends; then suddenly, K BOOM! The answer shows up and I know it is the answer, and I give thanks. God works in mysterious ways. How often have we heard that or said that? And He does, according to what I have experienced with God. The answers or guidance comes in a myriad of ways for me. And me only. Everyone is different and your answers will come in a different format or way exclusively for you. And only you.

Bottom line for me; meditating and praying in the morning and evening, gives me the boost I need to continue my day in peace and love. I am then actively engaged in my work, offering my best to all that I serve that day. And then giving the fruits of my work to the Most High. Of course, there are many, many, many things that add beauty to my day, that I do subconsciously that adds light. To name a few; thinking positively; eating healthy, helping others and having an attitude of gratitude. I am sure that you can think of many that you do automatically that helps to keep a smile on your face and peace in your life .

Until next time, continue to share your smile and be happy. The state of happiness is good medicine! May we all continue to walk the path to our beautifully evolving selves…Blessings…
